Live Aqua Urban Resort San Miguel de Allende has introduced dog-friendly accommodations and amenities. The program includes a welcome kit that features food and water bowls, water bottles and a pet bed. Rooms have also been categorized as dog friendly.

Upon check-in, owners will be required to sign a letter of responsibility where they agree to comply with terms that include keeping their pets within the dog-friendly rooms and that they are kept on a leash or in a carrier when moving about the hotel. Dogs are not permitted in dining venues or near the pools. The resort will provide a "pet in room" sign to be placed on the door when the pet is left alone in the room, as well.
Small and medium dogs are able to lodge at the hotel, with a limit of two dogs per room and a total weight not exceeding 44 pounds.
