TRS Yucatan Hotel reopened Dec. 1 following extensive renovations. The five-star resort is part of Palladium Hotel Group's rebranded, adult's only offering, TRS Hotels, and is a conversion of the former Royal Suites Yucatan by Palladium and neighboring hotel Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa.
The resort's new Infinite Indulgence concept is an evolution of the all-inclusive plan. The renovations include the creation of 454 suites, which include those from the former Royal Suites Yucatan by Palladium and the integration of rooms from the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa. The suites, some with private pools, have terraces.
The hotel's new a la carte restaurant offers an international culinary tour, from French style at La Boheme, Italian dishes at Tentazione, fine meat cuts at El Gaucho, and contemporary glamor and style at the Chic Cabaret & Restaurant. There is also gourmet, fine dining at Capricho.
The upgrade also added new beachfront innovations, like a signature beach club and live music. A new a la carte restaurant, Helios, follows the trail of the famous beach clubs of Ibiza, while the new Gaia, Aurum and Io bars located in the lobby, by the pool and on the beach will offer refreshing cocktails.
