Asilia has announced it will be opening two camps in southern Tanzania, one in Selous Game Reserve in August and the other in Ruaha National Park a month later.
Roho ya Selous will open in the Selous reserve, one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa, known for its varied landscape of grasslands and water ways. Accommodations are in eight air-conditioned, canvas-tented rooms on a hillside overlooking the water.

Jabali Ridge will open in Ruaha National Park, an area with one of Africa's largest animal populations and currently only a handful of small camps. The camp will consist of eight guest suites, an infinity pool and private lounge areas.
"These new properties in southern Tanzania will not only allow us to take guests to an entirely new region of Tanzania but also for us to have meaningful impact on the conservation agenda in these two key wilderness areas'' said Jeroen Harderwijk, co-founder and managing director of Asilia.
