Extraordinary Journeys is launching an eight-night Art of Travel package to South Africa to coincide with the fifth annual Cape Town Art Fair, which takes place from Feb. 17 to 19.

Held at the Cape Town International Convention Center, the fair will present the best of both contemporary Pan-African and international art along with curated programs featuring art talks and curated walks by contemporary art world professionals.

The itinerary divides time between a four-night stay in Cape Town's Ellerman House, home to one of the most important private collections of modern South African art, and four nights at the Delaire Graff Estate in the Cape Winelands, surrounded by art galleries, including the Stellenbosch Modern and Contemporary Gallery. Guests may also choose to extend their stay by adding on a Big Five Safari in Singita or Kwandwe at an additional cost.

Tour participants will be accompanied by Talita Swarts, a South Africa native who studied art history extensively at the University of Pretoria, where she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts and MA in Visual Arts and worked with multimedia sculpture and installation art.

Pricing for this itinerary is $8,600 per person, based on double occupancy. For more information, visit https://www.extraordinaryjourneys.com/itineraries/2017-cape-town-art-fair/.
