Newmark Hotels, Residences, Reserves & Lodges is adding the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve, a 34,500-acre reserve located in South Africa's Great Karoo region, to its hospitality portfolio. Newmark will take the reins in managing the property, working side by side with Mount Camdeboo, on May 1.
Mount Camdeboo is privately owned by the Buchanan family, who have developed this property from agricultural farmland into a game reserve where wildlife, including endangered species, are able to roam freely. The reserve will soon be classified Big Five terrain as plans are in place to introduce lion sand elephants to the reserve in upcoming months as part of Mount Camdeboo's conservation efforts.

• Courtyard Manor: A double-gabled homestead that dates back to the late 1700s. The property offers four bedrooms as well as a swimming pool.
• Safari Tents: Two luxurious tents, raised on wooden decks and overlooking the seasonal Melk River.
