Rwanda will reopen to commercial flights starting Aug. 1.
Inbound passengers will be required to present proof that
they tested negative for Covid-19 within 72 hours of arriving in Rwanda.
Visitors will be tested again upon arrival, with results delivered within 24
hours; as visitors await their results, they will be required to
self-quarantine at a designated hotel at their own expense.
Charter flights to the country resumed June 17. All tourism
activities, such as primate trekking within the country’s national parks, have
also resumed.
