The Bushcamp Co. has launched a yoga program for travelers on safari in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia.

Available at each of operator's six remote Bushcamps in the southern stretches of the park as well as at the Mfuwe Lodge just inside the park gate, the yoga program offers a relaxing addition to daily game drives and walking safaris in the bush.

The classes are taught by Shapur Afrand Ghandforoush, a registered yoga instructor who joined the Bushcamp Co. from Denmark. Ghandforoush specializes in everything from focused breathing "animal movements" to dance movements and meditation. Travelers can ask him to lead a personal two-hour yoga/meditation session throughout the day if they chose to skip a game drive or join the regular group sessions in the afternoon.
