Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick will perform at the Strat Hotel, Casino & Skypod for four shows this winter.
Performances are scheduled for Feb. 25 and 26 and March 4 and 5 in the 900-seat Strat Theater. Showtime is 9 p.m.
Founded in 1974, Cheap Trick includes founding band members Robin Zander, vocalist and guitarist; Rick Nielsen on lead guitar; and Tom Petersson on bass guitar. Daxx Nielsen joined the band on drums in 2010; he's the son of Rick Nielsen.
Their classic hits include "I Want You to Want Me," "Dream Police," "Surrender," and "The Flame." The band will also have a tribute to "Cheap Trick at Budokan," the band's breakthrough live album recorded in Tokyo in 1978.
"Cheap Trick has delivered hit after hit over the course of their illustrious career," said Adam Steck of SPI Entertainment, co-producer of the show. "Their music includes some of the greatest rock anthems in history, and I'm thrilled to be bringing them to the Strat for their first Las Vegas residency."
