The adults-only musical and dance show "Cherry Boom Boom" debuted on the Las Vegas Strip last month at the Tropicana Las Vegas.
The show combines music, dance, comedy and acrobatics to tell a classic story of love lost and rekindled. The producers say "Cherry Boom Boom" is a modern take on the old-school, all-female revue, and rather than a burlesque show they are calling it a "rock-n-roll a go-go." The show includes 12 featured dancers, several of whom are veterans of other Vegas shows, and a two-tiered stage with large video screens. The show features some topless dancers and is for guests age 18 and older.
Joining the 12 core dancers in the cast are specialty acts, the "Boomettes" aerialists and two comedia del arte actors. A variety of musical acts, celebrity hosts and other performers will periodically appear to offer an element of surprise to each performance.

Cherry Boom Boom, a new show at the Tropicana including topless dancers and a rock soundtrack has been dubbed a "rock-n-roll a go-go" by producers.
The show is backed by a soundtrack heavy on rock and pop, including Kid Rock, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz, Melissa Ethridge and Joan Jett.
The show is produced by the trio of Robin Lindsley Allen, Shana Betz and Lynn Garlock-Wright. "Cherry Boom Boom" started in Los Angeles, and an early incarnation of the show was held at the King King nightclub before that venue closed earlier this year.
"We thrive on girl power both on stage and behind the scenes," said Garlock-Wright, managing partner for "Cherry Boom Boom," in a release announcing the show. "Four ruthless women with incredible resumes worked together to create a new kind of show experience we hope will become a staple in Las Vegas."
