Happy Gilmore is headed to Las Vegas. Actor, comedian and occasional singer Adam Sandler is bound for the Strip, where he'll launch a performing residency at the Cosmopolitan on Nov. 10.
While the resort has hosted recurring gigs from musicians like Bruno Mars, Sandler will be the hotel's first foray into a comedy residency, with scheduled dates continuing Nov. 17 and Jan. 27 and more nights to be announced. Sandler will take the mic inside the Cosmo's premier venue, the Chelsea Theatre, where other upcoming bookings include the Pixies, Bob Dylan and Nas.
"In looking at our history, we've had the likes of Jay-Z, Adele, Coldplay, Drake, Amy Schumer, Bob Dylan, Dave Chappelle, Bruno Mars, country superstars, up-and-coming indie acts and everything in between -- our roster is eclectic and dynamic, much like our brand," said Fedor Banuchi, Cosmopolitan vice president of entertainment, via press release. "To announce Adam Sandler as our first comedic resident is very exciting for us, and we're thrilled to welcome him to the Cosmopolitan."
Tickets for Adam Sandler at the Chelsea are on sale now from $49. For more information, visit cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.
