Craft beer-focused BLVD & Main opens at the Strat

|

The Strat Hotel, Casino and SkyPod has opened a beer-focused restaurant and bar, the BLVD and Main Taphouse and View Lounge.

The new establishment is next to the William Hill Sports Book in the Strat Hotel, formerly known as the Stratosphere, and is open daily for lunch and dinner.

"The craft beer offerings, including our own beers, are fantastic. Chef Johannes Bernau's cuisine takes pub cuisine to a new, upscale, cutting-edge standard," Steve Arcana, executive vice president and COO of Golden Entertainment, the parent company of the Strat, said in a statement.

Both the BLVD and Main restaurant and adjacent View Lounge offer plenty of televisions for watching sports. The BLVD & Main menu includes Buffalo fried oysters, topped with bleu cheese crumbles; a BBQ short rib slider with dill pickles; and stone-fired flatbreads. The dessert menu includes apple pie flautas, s'mores cake, toffee cake and fondue for sharing.

There are more than two dozen beers on tap and an expansive cocktail selection.

The View Lounge has its own distinctive menu, including a selection of small plates such as smoked salmon flatbread made with creme fraiche, tobiko, chive and chili-garlic oil and chilled Maine crab rolls made with crisp pear, celery and lemon served in homemade herb focaccia.
