As Cunard Line prepares for a May 2019 return to Alaska, the company has also announced a full season of 2020 cruising in the 49th state.
The 2020 Alaska excursions will depart between June and September on the newly updated Queen Elizabeth. Roundtrip outings leave from Vancouver and range from nine to 12 nights, with fares starting at $1,599. Guests can also combine the Alaska roundtrips with an Independence Day Vancouver-San Francisco cruise and or with North Pacific crossings scheduled for late August and September.
Cunard's Alaska itineraries include port time in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka, along with scenic cruising at near the Hubbard Glacier, Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm.
"We are so excited to offer an extended season in Alaska on Queen Elizabeth in 2020," said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president for Cunard North America. "Due to strong demand and passenger feedback, Cunard has more than doubled its voyages in Alaska, visiting the most incredible cities with longer time in port to enjoy this inspiring destination."
