The Dalmar Hotel, the latest addition to the Marriott Tribute Portfolio collection, has opened just off the Las Olas Boulevard shopping district in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The 25-story, 209-room hotel, outfitted in Palm Springs-style midcentury decor, includes five food and beverage options (including the city's highest rooftop bar), an infinity pool, a fitness center and a yoga studio by the South Florida brand Yoga Joint. Rooms start at $239 per night.

Among the guestrooms are 33 suites, and all guestrooms are outfitted with Amazon Alexa devices as well as iPads for ordering room service and controlling lighting. The rooms feature luxury Sferra bedding and linens; modern furniture in neutral tones, leather and natural wood; and marble in the bathrooms. Every guest bathroom also features a rainfall showerhead and bathroom amenities in scents created exclusively for the hotel.

The hotel's Terrace Grill is an American-Italian fusion restaurant, and a rooftop bar, Sparrow, will open later this spring.

To celebrate the opening, the hotel is including a Dalmar Experience Package, which comes with a $50 food and beverage credit that can be used at the lobby bar, the pool bar or the Terrace Grill.
