The pool is a way of life during summers in Las Vegas, the site of movie nights, day parties, spa treatments and rock concerts. Pools are where guests and locals alike go to escape both the brutal heat and the equally extreme air conditioning. They make the 100-plus-degree temperatures borderline bearable.
So Topgolf's launch of the Hideaway Pool in May wasn't as much a new concept as a remix on a Vegas staple. Casinos, nightclubs and strip clubs all have their own pools. Can you pair a pool with an upscale driving range experience? Why not?
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with special events in the evenings, Hideaway Pool is a free, 21-and-over aquatic space where lounge chairs and daybeds are first come, first served and cabana rentals for up to eight guests start at $250. The pool is set on the 105,000-square-foot venue's third level and features a swim-up bar and full food menu; waterside activities like beer pong and cornhole; access to hitting bays to play Topgolf's unique driving range games; and a giant screen that shows movies every other Thursday at 8 p.m. Upcoming showings at Drive + Dive-In Movie Night include "Mean Girls" on June 29 and "The Big Lebowski" on July 13.
