Travel guide author and multimedia producer Samantha Brown will profile Miami in the season finale episode of the PBS television series "Places to Love" scheduled in most markets on April 4.

In the half-hour show, Brown will tour the street murals of Wynwood with a stop at Wynwood Yards; speak to a barbecue chef in Little Haiti; hit the Everglades on an airboat tour and ply the waters of Biscayne Bay with the Shake a Leg charity for disabled people hoping to experience sailing.

In addition to Wynwood and the Fruit & Spice Park in rural Miami-Dade County, Brown counts among her top three experiences a dinner at  Ember Miami, where a lasagna made from 15 layers of pasta and 15 layers of cheese became her favorite meal of the trip.

Brad Kilgore, owner of the Design District wood-fire American bistro, is currently offering delivery and curbside pick-up through another of his family's restaurants, Alter, in Wynwood.

Earlier this season, Brown profiled Key West; that show is available for on-demand viewing at the PBS website.
