InterContinental Hotel Group's newest brand, Even Hotels, has opened a location next to Miami Airport. It is the brand's first property in the southeastern U.S. and focuses on travelers for whom wellness is top of mind.
The Even Hotel Miami Airport features 190 guestrooms, each with an in-room minigym containing a mounted fitness wall, resistance bands, an exercise ball, yoga mat and blocks and more than 18 on-demand fitness videos. The on-site Athletic Studio features TRX bands, weights, Woodway treadmills and spin bikes. The hotel offers same-day laundry service for workout clothes and filtered water "hydration stations" on guestroom floors.
The rooms also contain a minifridge, ergonomic workstations and beds with eucalyptus, natural fiber and high-thread-count linens to provide a cooling effect for better sleep.
Cork & Kale, the hotel's signature restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner with made-to-order menu items and a cocktail bar featuring fresh herbs and cold-pressed juices along with beer and wine. The marketplace corner offers fresh salads and sandwiches as well as snacks and beverages available 24 hours a day.
