Established in 1973 to connect guests with Alaska Native traditions and culture, the three-day celebration spotlights artists and performers working in a variety of media. The public can also take part in workshops that explore everything from weaving to ice cream-making to traditional songs and language.
Events take place on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, with live performances offered in the Charles Davis Concert Hall and vendor displays in the university's Great Hall venue.
