Summer on the Strip means high temperatures, dehydrated tourists and a plethora of pool parties. Since Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino first took nightlife poolside, a flood of day- and nighttime bashes have taken over Las Vegas' aquatic spaces, transforming sun decks into outdoor discos complete with DJs and bottle service. Collared shirts are not required.
Now, the Flamingo is getting in on the fun with the Beach Club at Night, a simply named weekly fete that will set up at the Flamingo Beach Club every Wednesday from May 3 through the end of September. The Beach Club at Night, which runs from 7 p.m. to midnight, will be a casual complement to the Strip's more lively after-dark pool parties. Think fire pits, alcohol-infused s'mores and games like beer pong, oversize Jenga and LED cornhole. Bottles of Belvedere and Moet & Chandon will run $100, a steep discount from bottle service pricing at more clublike pool parties.
"We wanted to offer an experience that encompasses all the amazing things you can do at the beach, right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip," said Mark Gilbert, Flamingo director of food & beverage via a release. "This nonpretentious evening isn't about cover charges or guest lists, but about an experience designed for everyone."
In a city where something for everyone is a guiding ethos, now it appears there's a pool party for everyone, too.
