Visit Lauderdale's second annual Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival will be held from March 18 to 22 at locations throughout Broward County. The festival will feature more than 100 local restaurants, spirits brands, wineries and breweries. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., will be the festival's charity partner this year.
The festival will kick off with the Cocktail Confidential event on March 18. GFL On the Rise will take place on March 20 at the Atlantic Hotel & Spa. The festival will also include a Grand Tasting Event on March 21, featuring food and beverage tastings, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment, and a free Family Day presented by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital on March 22. Both the Grand Tasting and the Family Day events will take place at ArtsPark Hollywood.
The 2020 festival will feature acclaimed and local chefs, including Shaun O'Neale, winner of season seven of "MasterChef"; Chi Chan, executive chef at Mastro's Ocean Club; Josie Smith-Malave of Bubbles & Pearls in Wilton Manors; and Gianpiero and Karen Cangelosi, co-owners of Capriccio's Ristorante in Pembroke Pines.
