It's 7 a.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and you need coffee. Bad. There, like a glimmering oasis, is a new Dunkin' Donuts, offering sweet salvation in the form of iced coffee, sugary pastries and pretzel croissants (yes, these exist). The 1,546-square-foot outlet is a new addition to the Hard Rock landscape, housed along the heavily trafficked corridor that connects the parking lot to the casino floor. As is Vegas' way, it's open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Dunkin' is one of six new retail shops inside the resort. The product of a partnership between the Hard Rock and the Hudson Group (of airport newsstand fame), the stores offer high-end timepieces (Bezel), liquor and travel accessories (Hootenanny by Hudson), jewelry (Shine), men's and women's apparel (Day + Night) and snacks and souvenirs (Chill by Hudson).
"With the Hudson Group's new, exclusive properties in Las Vegas, we are forging new territory by bringing 30 years of travel retail experience to resorts for the first time," said Joseph DiDomizio, Hudson Group president and CEO, division CEO North America of Dufry. "We could not be more proud to partner with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas."
In total, the new retail offerings encompass 14,500 square feet of real estate, with design by Designwork Studios and Big Red Rooster creating energetic, modern spaces in keeping with the resort's general aesthetic.
All six shops are now open.
