The Hilton Orlando is updating all 1,417 guestrooms and suites with the project set for completion by Oct. 31.
This is the first soft goods update to the Orlando Convention Center hotel since it opened in 2009. The refresh includes new carpet, sheers, black-out lined curtains, pillow fabrics, desk chairs, 55-inch televisions, bed-box covers and bedding.
The Hilton Orlando caters to convention and group business as well as leisure travelers. Resort amenities include a quiet pool with cabanas, a zero-entry family pool with a waterslide, a lazy river, a hot tub, poolside food and beverage and two large gas fire circles surrounded by Adirondack chairs.
Its location is beside the convention center and is close to SeaWorld, Sand Lake Road restaurants, Universal Orlando Resort and the Orlando Eye Ferris wheel. Guests can walk to the convention center and easily hop on the I-Ride Trolley that services all of the dining, shopping and entertainment options along International Drive.
