Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport recorded its busiest month ever in July 2017, with 4.32 million passengers arriving and departing over the course of the month. That figure represents a 3.8% increase over July 2016, when 4.2 million visitors passed through the airport.
The summertime growth was driven by domestic carriers, which were up 3.9% for the month. Of McCarran's top five scheduled carriers, United saw the largest increase, with an 8.6% jump in passengers for July 2017 versus the previous year.
While July's five weekends likely helped boost passenger counts, McCarran is also up 2.4% year to date versus this time last year
