The Dalmar Hotel, which opened earlier this month in Fort Lauderdale, now sports a rooftop bar, Sparrow, with sweeping city and ocean views from the 25th floor. The space features a main bar, lounge and patio bar and seating.
Sparrow's design and decor is inspired by midcentury materials, furnishings and architectural details. It also has a private dining space with room for 12 guests, separated from the main lounge area by a glass partition.
"I truly believe we've accomplished something completely new in Fort Lauderdale with Sparrow through incredible views, a retro, urban design that transports you back to the 1960s and an out of this world cocktail and culinary program," said Jake Wurzak, president of the Wurzak Hotel Group, which owns and operates the Dalmar.
Sparrow will also serve a menu of shareable plates based on seasonal ingredients like sweet corn fritters with avocado remoulade, lobster ceviche and crispy mushroom steamed buns.
Sparrow is open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. daily.
