The undead are coming. Actually, they're already here, slack-jawed, dull-eyed and relentless, and they want you to join their ranks.
That's the rough premise behind Fear the Walking Dead Survival, a new, ongoing attraction at the Fremont Street Experience that sets visitors inside a fictional community college where a mysterious outbreak means some students are definitely going to fail their midterms. The uninfected have to navigate through blood-smeared rooms and fight off zombified classmates in this interactive experience that's half escape room, half haunted house with some thrill ride fun thrown in for good measure.
Groups of 12 enter the attraction together and the journey through its apocalyptic real estate lasts about 20 minutes -- assuming, that is, you survive. Otherwise, well, being undead is forever.
Fear the Walking Dead Survival is open Sundays through Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets cost $30. For more information, click here.
