Universal's Las Vegas horror attraction to open Aug. 14

Las Vegas, get ready to scream. Universal Horror Unleashed will open its doors on Aug. 14.

The year-round horror experience sits in a 100,000-square-foot building at the Area15 district.

Inside, guests will find four themed areas with a haunted house in each: Universal Monsters, Blumhouse's The Exorcist: Believer, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scarecrow: The Reaping.

The experience also feature themed bars and food locations as well as a retail location with merchandise.

Tickets are on sale now. They are sold by date and time of admission.

The general admission ticket (one-time access) is $69 per person plus tax and gives holders access to each haunted house once for their selected date and time. The general admission ticket (unlimited access) starts at $99 per person plus tax and gives holders unlimited admission to all four haunted houses for their selected day and time.

Both tickets give holders access to food, drink and shopping.
