Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection will introduce
four new ships over the next three years to replace vessels in Egypt, Portugal,
Vietnam and Russia.
The new ships will launch on the Nile in Egypt, the Douro in
Portugal and the Mekong in Vietnam in 2020, followed by a new ship on the Volga
in Russia in 2021.
Uniworld said it will also renovate and upgrade the River
Countess in Venice.
Uniworld said the new ships will be in line with the "best
of Uniworld's custom-built Super Ships in Europe, reinforcing the brand's
commitment to having the most luxurious cruise fleet on the world's rivers."
The cruise line has five Super Ships in its European fleet. A
sixth, the Bon Voyage, is set to sail in France in 2019.
Super Ships have more suites, more
dining venues, luxurious finishes and a grand staircase.
