Flyers can now book tickets on the scheduled charter carrier JSX via the United.com website.

Tuesday's announcement represents a tightening of the United-JSX partnership. Flyers have already been able to accrue MileagePlus points on JSX flights.

As a scheduled charter carrier, JSX is restricted to flights with 30 seats or less. The carrier operates out of private terminals, rather than standard commercial terminals and asks customers to arrive just 20 minutes before a scheduled departure. Fares are priced to be competitive with first class on commercial operators.

JSX also has a codeshare partnership with JetBlue.
