From its Atlanta hub, Delta will fly daily to Maui beginning Nov. 19, augmenting its existing Atlanta-Honolulu service. Also that day, Delta will begin daily Detroit-Honolulu service. Delta is slated to be the lone carrier on both the Atlanta-Maui and Detroit-Honolulu routes. Honolulu will be Delta's lone route from its Detroit hub.

On Dec. 17 Delta will begin daily nonstop New York JFK-Honolulu service, competing against Hawaiian Airlines.

The newly planned routes will take Delta's total peak day Hawaii service next winter to 18 daily nonstops to four destinations from seven mainland cities. In addition, Delta flies daily to Honolulu from Tokyo Haneda.
