German leisure carrier Condor Airlines will add Miami to its network of U.S. destinations next summer.

The carrier will fly thrice weekly to Miami from its base in Frankfurt beginning May 18, competing against Lufthansa's daily service.

Condor will fly the route using an Airbus A330neo with business, premium economy and economy cabins.

With the addition of Miami, Condor will fly to 12 U.S. destinations next summer. By that time, the carrier expects its entire long-haul fleet to be flying A330neo, a plane it launched in February
