Dirk Janzen, a 22-year veteran of Lufthansa, will take over the role on Sept. 1, replacing Frank Naeve, who has been promoted to senior vice president of global markets and stations for the airline group. Naeve has held the post for the past three years.

Since 2020, Janzen has been vice president of revenue management and commercial steering for Brussels Airlines, which is part of the Lufthansa Group. In his new post, he'll oversee passenger sales, global market strategy and joint ventures for the Lufthansa Group across North America and South America.
