Lufthansa’s first Airbus A380 equipped with its new Premium Economy class took off this week from Frankfurt to Houston.

The seating will be available on all of Lufthansa’s A380 routes by April 22.

Lufthansa’s Premium Economy passengers get up to 50% more legroom, are greeted with welcome drinks, get menus for meals that are served on china, and receive “high-end amenity kits.”

For an extra $26, Premium Economy passengers can use Lufthansa Business Lounges prior to departure.

Lufthansa launched its first Premium Economy service in December on its Boeing 747-8’s and is gradually rolling it out to the rest of its long-haul fleet.
