The newly announced routes are twice-daily Long Beach-Colorado Springs, Colo., service, which begins July 11; and daily Albuquerque, N.M., flights starting Sept. 5.

Southwest had previously announced that it will begin daily Long Beach service to Kansas City on March 9 as well as a weekly Long Beach-Orlando flight on July 15.

The carrier will be the lone operator serving all four of those airport pairs, Cirium schedule data show.

Southwest did not cut any routes as part of the schedule extension, spokesman Dan Landson said.
