The seasonal service will be offered three times per week beginning May 22.

The discount transatlantic carrier operates Boeing 787-9 aircraft configured with premium economy and economy cabins.

Norse Atlantic will compete on the route with Italy's ITA Airways.

Rome will be Norse's fourth route from LAX, joining Paris, London Gatwick and Oslo. All of the routes are summer-only.
