TSA has added eight additional airlines to the PreCheck trusted traveler program

Spain's Iberia is the largest of those carriers. The others include Canadian leisure-focused operator Air Transat, Air Tahiti Nui, Bahamasair, the recently launched BermudAir, the French all-business class airline La Compagnie and South Korean upstart Air Premia. The eighth carrier, New Pacific Airlines, will suspend scheduled commercial flying on April 1 and move to an all-charter model.

Travelers can apply to become a PreCheck member on the TSA website. Enrollment costs as little as $78 for five years.
