United Airlines has added 120 flights for college football fans to its fall schedule.
The flights will hone in on approximately 45 games that will be played between the second weekend of September and the final weekend of November.
For example, to facilitate travel to the Alabama-Texas matchup in Austin on Sept. 10, United is adding two roundtrip flights between Birmingham and Austin that weekend. In another example, United is adding a roundtrip between State College, Pa., and Detroit for fans traveling to the Oct. 15 Penn State-Michigan game in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Other college towns or cities for which United will add flights during college football weekends this season include Madison, Wis.; Lincoln, Neb.; Seattle; Columbus, Ohio; Baton Rouge, La.; South Bend, Ind.; and Los Angeles.
