Icelandic budget carrier Wow Air will add India to its network on Dec. 5, operating five flights per week between Reykjavik and India.

The route will give fliers in nine U.S. cities one-stop, low-cost access to the Asian subcontinent.

In a promotion, Wow is selling a total of 4,200 one-way seats to India for just $199. Seats must be purchased for travel between Jan. 10 and March 31. The one-way fares only apply when accompanied by a return booking.

This winter, Wow is scheduled to fly from Reykjavik to the U.S. cities of Newark, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles and St. Louis.
