Boutique brand 21c Museum Hotels will unveil its newest
property in Chicago on Feb. 4.
Located in the city’s River North neighborhood, the 21c
Museum Hotel Chicago will have 297 guestrooms, including 106 suites. Each of
the hotel’s two 21c Suites will feature an open-concept floor plan with a
sectional couch, a dining table for six and views of downtown Chicago.
About 10,000 square feet will be dedicated to the hotel’s
multi-venue museum space, which will showcase rotating solo and group
exhibitions, site-specific installations and various cultural programming. All
art and programming will be curated by 21c’s museum director and chief curator
Alice Gray Stites.
The museum will be free to the public and open 24 hours a
day, seven days a week. The hotel will offer complimentary museum tours.
Room rates start at $219 per night.
The hotel will be the ninth 21c Museum property, joining locations
in Arkansas, Ohio, North Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma and
Iowa.
Acquired by Accor in 2018, the 21c flag is part of Accor’s
MGallery Hotel Collection.
