Andaz, Hyatt Hotels Corp.'s boutique brand, plans to open a hotel in Costa Rica by the end of the year. It will be the brand's first hotel in Central America.
The Andaz Papagayo will have 153 rooms, including 23 suites. The property, located on Costa Rica's Culebra Bay, will also have nine rooms for spa treatments.
In Hawaii, the 297-room Andaz Maui at Wailea is slated to debut by fall. Additionally, Hyatt will add a 122-room Andaz in Tokyo next year.
