Audrey Oswell
Atlantis Paradise Island owner Brookfield Asset Management
has tapped Audrey Oswell to replace Howard Karawan as
president and managing director of the 3,400-room Bahamas resort.
Oswell has been Atlantis' COO since late last year after
serving as its chief gaming officer from 2011 to 2013. In between Atlantis
stints, she was CEO of Seneca Gaming.
Prior to Oswell's first stint with Atlantis, Oswell had
senior management positions with Caesars Entertainment and Resorts
International.
Karawan, the former president of Kerzner International
(Atlantis' former owner), returned to Atlantis to run the resort last
September. An Atlantis spokeswoman confirmed that Karawan was no longer with
the company but declined to disclose the reason for his departure.
