Atlantis, Paradise Island will unveil its newly renovated 693-room Coral Towers in July, along with a revamped Marina Village, in the fall.
"We've taken a step back to look to the future of Atlantis and to truly understand what motivates today's travelers to choose a destination," said Howard Karawan, president and managing director.
The family-themed Coral Towers is taking reservations now for travel beginning July 1. The booking window for family package sales will run from May 1 through June 5 for travel from July 1 through Oct. 31.
The centerpiece of the lobby at Coral Towers is a soda fountain serving milkshakes, espresso/coffee drinks, cocktails, pastries and gelato.
Guest rooms include king and queen beds to accommodate families.
Kids' amenities include pint-sized bathrobes and an in-room refrigerator with the option to pre-purchase snacks.
The updated pool area features private cabanas, family water activities and a swim-up popsicle bar with frozen treats prepared with local fruits.
The Marina Village, designed to connect guests with Bahamian culture, will offer weekend markets with products from island artisans; seasonal festivals and parades; and Bahamian specialties, including an authentic fish fry, conch salad and craft beer from a local brewery served in a tasting hall.
Guests will receive a Family Trip Planner for itinerary planning while at Atlantis that will include information on baby-sitting services.
