Auberge Resorts Collection has been tapped to manage The Birdsall, a luxury hotel with residences slated to open in 2027 in Houston's River Oaks community.

The Birdsall will be part of The RO, a 17-acre mixed-use village development within River Oaks. The project's name is an homage to architect Birdsall Briscoe, who designed many homes in the area in the 1920s and 1930s.

The 34-story property will have 105 hotel rooms, 44 residences and a private club for members.

The hotel plans to offer a signature restaurant, a spa with 11 treatment rooms, a fitness center, event space and various outdoor amenities, including a 70-foot pool, lawns and gardens, and alfresco dining.

Located on the first floor, the private club will have a garden, cafe, bar and library.

The Birdsall will be Auberge Resorts Collection's first hotel in Houston, which is home to Auberge's parent company, The Friedkin Group. Auberge currently operates 28 hotels and resorts.
