Hyatt Hotels Corp. has announced plans to turn two Be Live Collection all-inclusives in the Dominican Republic into Sunscape resorts, with the pair to officially join Hyatt's Inclusive Collection later this year.

The two resorts are the Be Live Collection Canoa in La Romana and the Be Live Collection Punta Cana.

Prior to joining the Inclusive Collection, both properties will undergo renovations and relaunch with signature Sunscape amenities like an Explorer's Club for kids, a Core Zone teens club and a variety of a la carte restaurants with kid-friendly options.

According to Hyatt, the move will grow its all-inclusive footprint by nearly 2,000 rooms.

The new Sunscape resorts will join the brand's existing Sunscape Puerto Plata Dominican Republic Resort in the D.R., which opened in 2016

Sunscape, a four-star, family friendly all-inclusive brand, also has four resorts in Mexico and one in Curacao.
