A makeover of Caesars Palace's original main entrance -- including a majestic porte-cochere, a 15-foot-tall statue of Augustus Caesar, a soaring dome and a barreled ceiling -- are just some of the changes that are underway at the iconic resort.
Most of the
multimillion-dollar project, which includes two
redesigned gaming areas and a new lobby bar, is expected to be completed by New
Year’s Eve.
"Caesars Palace brought a sense of grandeur to the Las Vegas Strip when it was built in 1966, and we're proud to continue that legacy with a full reimagining of our main entrance," said Sean McBurney, Caesars Entertainment regional president.

During construction, the main valet off the Strip will accommodate only Caesars Rewards Diamond and Seven Star members, and the Colosseum at Caesars valet (ground floor of the Caesars Palace self-parking garage off Frank Sinatra Drive) will be available to all other guests seeking valet parking.
Other temporary changes that guests should be keep in mind: the rideshare area will be relocated to the exit doors next to the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden near the entrance to the Forum Shops, and all entrances will have express check-in/check-out kiosks.
