At its annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday, Walt Disney Co. introduced a $700 annual pass, good for admission to all parks at the Disneyland and Disney World resorts.
The Disney Premier Passport grants unlimited admission for one year to:
• Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim, Calif.
• Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks, DisneyQuest indoor interactive theme park, ESPN Wide World of Sports complex and Disney's Oak Trail golf course in Orlando.
Some events may require an additional charge, Disney said.
The pass includes parking at all four theme parks at Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdon, Hollywood Studios), and parking at any pay-on-entry parking lot at Disneyland Resort.
Also included are subscriptions to Mickey Monitor, Backstage Pass and Disney’s Family Fun magazine (one per household).
Those who already hold an annual pass for both resorts will automatically be issued a Disney Premier Passport, with an expiration date based on the later of the two annual passes. The new passes are being mailed out Thursday.
Guests can upgrade their annual or seasonal pass for one resort to a Disney Premier Passport for the difference between the retail price of the existing pass and the Premier Passport price.
The new pass is available at Disneyland Resort ticket booths, Disney World guest relations windows and at Disney World's Downtown Disney.
