The Four Seasons Hotel Osaka has opened, occupying part of the One Dojima high-rise in Osaka's Dojima neighborhood.

The 28th floor is home to the hotel's Gensui floor, which showcases what Four Seasons describes as a "contemporary ryokan" experience. Gensui accommodations feature elements like tatami floor mats, sliding doors, low-slung seating and futon-style sleeping platforms.

Guests staying on the Gensui level are greeted by specially trained staff and asked to remove their shoes. Guests have access to the floor's Sabo tea lounge, which offers bento-style breakfasts, tea rituals and evening sake and wine.

In addition to the Gensui rooms and suites, the property has 154 hotel accommodations occupying floors 29 to 35, including expansive suites like the 1,367-square-foot Grand Osaka Suite and 2,820-square-foot Presidential Suite.

The hotel's culinary offerings include Cantonese restaurant Jiang Nan Chun, all-day international eatery Jardin, and Bar Bota. At street level, the property has the Farine bakery as well as Cha, a guest-only venue serving a curated selection of Japanese teas. An 18-seat sushi restaurant with a private dining room is on track to open later this year.

The property's wellness facilities, located on the 36th floor, include a spa with five treatment rooms, Japanese baths, a sauna, an indoor pool and a fitness center.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers a 2,400-square-foot grand ballroom and a separate Garden Terrace. The 37th-floor Sky Salon with an open kitchen and bar is also available for smaller gatherings.

The Four Seasons Osaka is the luxury brand's fourth hotel in Japan, joining the Four Seasons Kyoto, Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi and Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi.
