The Four Seasons Hotel New York, which has been closed since the start of the pandemic, will reopen this September.
Four Seasons reached a reopening agreement with Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts, which owns the Manhattan hotel.
Located at 57 East 57th St., the 368-room hotel opened as a Four Seasons in 1993.
Concurrently, Four Seasons has reached an agreement to reopen another long-shuttered, Ty Warner-owned property: the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara in California.
Closed since March 2020, the 206-room Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara will begin welcoming back guests next spring. (The Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club, located adjacent to the hotel, has already reopened under the management of a Ty Warner company.)
Situated near Santa Barbara's Butterfly Beach, the hotel had been managed by Four Seasons since 1987.
According to Four Seasons, both the New York and Santa Barbara hotels are undergoing enhancements, and details about the reopenings will be revealed in the coming months.
