Gurney's Resorts has officially opened Gurney's Star Island Resort & Marina, its second property in the Hamptons on New York's Long Island.

Located in Montauk, the 107-room waterfront resort features one of the largest marinas in the area, with a total of 232 slips able to accommodate vessels up to 220 feet.

The resort is also positioning itself as a culinary hot spot, showcasing four restaurants and bars under the leadership of executive chef and Hamptons native Jeremy Blutstein. These include Showfish, a seafood concept, and the Showfish Bar, the outdoor Pool Club and Il Forno Market, an Italian eatery with a grab-and-go component.

Gurney's Star Island also features an outpost of New York City-based artisanal ice cream purveyor Van Leeuwen.

Other amenities include multiple pools, a private beach with watersports, wedding and event space and a kids' club, as well as complimentary shuttle service to nearby sister property Gurney's Montauk.

Rates at Gurney's Star Island Resort & Marina start at $350 per night.

In addition to its two Montauk properties, Gurney's Resorts also operates the Gurney's Newport Resort & Marina in Rhode Island.
