The Harbor Club St. Lucia in Rodney Bay will join Hilton's Curio
Collection in April, marking the the return of Hilton to St. Lucia.
Hilton sold its interest in the former Jalousie Hilton
Resort & Spa (now Sugar Ridge, A Viceroy Resort) in 2005.
"As the first Curio Collection by Hilton in St. Lucia,
the signing of Harbor Club speaks to our commitment to further expanding Hilton's
presence in the region," said Gregory Rockett, Hilton's vice president of
corporate hotel development.
The 115-suite Harbor Club is managed by Caribbean Hotel
Services, an affiliate of Aimbridge Hospitality.
The nautically themed property opened at the Rodney Bay
Marina on the island's northwest coast in September 2017. Some of the rooms
have swim-up access.
The property is 40 miles north of Hewanorra, the
international airport in the south of the island. Guests have access to nearby
Reduit Beach and Pigeon Island, a national landmark with historical monuments
and beaches set on 44 acres. The Harbor Club provides complimentary water taxi
service to Pigeon Island, where an exclusive area is available for its guests.
