The Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown has opened as part of the $1 billion Metropolis development two blocks north of the Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center.

The 350-room hotel takes design cues from 1920s Prohibition-era Los Angeles and murals depicting old Hollywood. The hotel also features a top-floor cocktail lounge and a fourth-floor pool area as well as almost 22,000 square feet of meeting space.
