Two Hyatt-branded hotels have opened adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport.

The Hyatt Place LAX/Century Blvd and Hyatt House LAX/Century Blvd occupy a redeveloped midcentury modern building.

The structure was built in 1967 by architect Welton Becket, who also designed LAX's Theme Building.

The hotels have a rooftop terrace and outdoor rooftop pool.

There is a branch of Greenleaf Kitchen & Cocktails, a Los Angeles-based chain of healthy fast-casual restaurants on the lobby level. A new upscale concept from Greenleaf executive chef Blake Clevenger, ShoresLAX, is located on the 15th floor rooftop.

Combined, the two hotels offer 401 rooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows. The 272-room Hyatt Place LAX offers 24-hour food service. The 129-room Hyatt House offers apartment-style accommodations with kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas.

Shared amenities include a fitness center and 3,100 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

Both of the hotels are operated by Dallas-based Prism Hotels & Resorts.
